The ST1S14PHR is a step-down monolithic power switching regulator from STMicroelectronics, offered in an HSOP-8 surface-mount package with an exposed pad. This device delivers up to 3A of DC output current to the load, with an operating input voltage range of 5.5V to 48V. The output voltage can be adjusted from 1.22V using external resistors. The high current capability is achieved through the HSOP package with an exposed frame, which reduces thermal resistance Rth(JA) to approximately 40°C/W.
